Reformer Pilates
Reformer Pilates at SONDR offers a full-body, low-impact approach to building strength, flexibility, and control. Using spring-loaded resistance, each class is designed to target your core, improve posture, and enhance functional movement. Whether you're new to Pilates or looking to deepen your practice, our sessions are intentionally programmed to meet you where you're at — helping you move better, feel stronger, and train with purpose.
New to Pilates?
Our Foundation Four program is designed for absolute beginners or those returning to Pilates after time away. Across four small-group sessions, you’ll build confidence on the reformer, learn essential movement patterns, and gain an understanding of how to connect breath, core and control. FOUNDATION FOUR
Our Foundation Four program is designed for absolute beginners or those returning to Pilates after time away. Across four small-group sessions, you’ll build confidence on the reformer, learn essential movement patterns, and gain an understanding of how to connect breath, core and control. With hands-on guidance and a supportive pace, this is your starting point to move well, feel strong, and set a solid foundation for your ongoing Pilates journey.
OPEN PILATES (Intermediate+)
Our Open Pilates classes are designed for those with prior reformer experience, ready to move with more, intensity, and progression. These sessions integrate strength, balance, and control with creative sequences that challenge the body and focus the mind. Expect targeted core work, full-body conditioning, and a chance to explore your own movement capacity — with modifications always available.
Move with strength, intention, and a deeper connection to your body.
ADVANCED REFORMER (Coming soon)
A dynamic, higher-intensity class designed for experienced Pilates clients ready to challenge their control, coordination, and full-body strength. This class moves with precision and pace, incorporating progressive sequences, complex transitions and increased resistance to push your practice to the next level. Prior reformer experience required.
Strength in movement. Power with purpose.
-
Absolutely. We recommend starting with our SONDR Foundation Four series — a 4-week beginner program designed to help you feel confident using the reformer, understand the basics of Pilates movement, and build strength at your own pace.
-
Please bring a water bottle, grip socks (required for safety, also available in studio), and a towel if you'd like one. We provide all other equipment. If it’s your first time, arrive a few minutes early so we can walk you through the reformer and make sure you're comfortable.
-
Wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely — like leggings, a fitted top or singlet, and grip socks. Avoid anything with sharp zips that may damage the reformer.
-
In most cases, yes — but we recommend contacting us ahead of time to ensure our studio is the right fit. Our instructors can modify exercises to suit your needs, but it’s important we understand your situation before joining a group class.
-
Reformer Pilates uses a spring-loaded machine to create resistance, which supports and challenges the body in different ways. It’s often easier on the joints and allows for greater variety, precision, and progression.
-
If you partake in other forms of exercise or training you may just add 1 pilates session to your week. Most clients feel a difference attending consistently 2–4 sessions per week if it is their own exercise. Some clients are addicted and attend 5 classes per week!
The key is consistency — we’ll help you find a rhythm that works for your goals and lifestyle.

Yes, due to our small class sizes, we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. You can book online through our timetable or via the Gymflow app (recommended for managing bookings)
